About SERT

The Wisconsin Student Emergency Response Team (SERT) program prepares high schools and high school students to respond safely, confidently, and compassionately during emergencies while developing leadership, teamwork, and professional skills essential to healthcare and public safety careers.

Mission

Wisconsin SERT is a statewide collaboration between Wisconsin HOSA, the Wisconsin EMS Association, AMP Honors & The Medical College of Wisconsin, and the Center for School, Youth, and Citizen Preparedness — working together to equip high school students with practical, credentialed emergency response training.

This project is funded wholly by the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
